Targhee is a breed of sheep that was developed in early 1900's as a dual purpose breed at the USDA Experiment Sheep Station near the Targhee National Forest.  With a fleece ranging in micron count from 21-25 it has excellent loft and a mighty awesome SQUISH factor.
