Gotland
The Gotland Sheep were developed in the mid 1920's on the Swedish Island of Gotland by crossing Karakul and Romanov sheep with the native Gute sheep. Gotland are a multi-purpose breed used for meat, pelts (furskins), and lustrous fleece. Also known as Gotland Pelt sheep.
